Lace AI develops AI-powered revenue intelligence software that analyzes 100% of incoming customer calls for home-service businesses (HVAC, plumbing, roofing) to detect lost revenue opportunities and improve call conversion. The Mountain View–based startup was founded in early 2022 by former Meta engineer Boris Valkov and Stan Stoyanov. Lace operates a SaaS model, charging a monthly fee per agent or customer support representative, and began selling to customers at the end of 2023. It works with over 100 businesses, including A1 Garage Door Service, Sage Home, Eco Plumbers, Matrix, and Lee’s Air. Valkov declined to disclose hard revenue figures but said Lace saw 1,000% ARR growth in 2024 and that some customers experience double-digit revenue growth. The company has 20 employees and plans to triple its headcount with the new funding.
