Leanplum counts customers including Tinder, Lyft, Zynga and Macy’s. The company says it has tripled revenue over the past two years and expects to triple again in 2016. It is tracking close to four billion events per day and expects that to reach 12 billion by the end of the year. Leanplum plans to use new funding to expand sales, marketing and engineering teams and to drive global expansion. Leanplum offers a mobile lifecycle marketing platform combining personalized messaging, dynamic UI optimization and A/B testing with analytics to help marketers re-engage users after app install. The company recently launched its Lifecycle Engine, a comprehensive dashboard that lets non-technical users trigger personalized campaigns based on time and user behavior. Leanplum began as an iOS and Android A/B testing service and graduated from TechStars Seattle in 2012 before expanding into a full lifecycle marketing solution. Management reports the business grew 5x year-over-year and has received validation from customers such as Expedia.
