Overview
Leapwork offers a visual, no-code automation platform focused on speeding up routine business processes and enterprise software testing, claiming 10x faster time to market, 97% productivity gains and a 90% reduction in application errors. The platform launched in 2017 and has grown its customer base more than double year on year to 300+ customers, including PayPal, Mercedes‑Benz and BNP Paribas. The company has expanded to a team of 170 people across nine offices in Europe, North America and Asia, and reports half of its customers are U.S. companies with 40% from banking, insurance and financial services. Leapwork was founded in 2015 and was bootstrapped in earlier years, with founders investing proceeds from prior exits. Product development and enhancements aim to “break down the language barrier between humans and computers.” Leapwork provides an entirely visual, no-code process automation platform backed by a modern tech stack that lets non-developers automate repetitive computer tasks via a simple interface likened to PowerPoint or Excel. The product targets software testing, data migration and robotic process automation use cases, with customers across tier-one banks, global healthcare firms, aerospace and software companies. Leapwork estimates its platform can save about 75% of an employee’s time on automated tasks. The company was founded in 2015, launched its platform in April 2017, and grew initially via pilots with Global2000 customers. Prior to the recent funding the founders bootstrapped the business and had previous successful exits. Leapwork operates from Copenhagen and has offices in London, San Francisco, Minsk and Gurugram. About half of its business already comes from the U.S., and the company plans to expand its presence there.
