Ligature Therapeutics is an early-stage drug discovery company developing small molecules for targeted protein degradation to treat intractable diseases. The company’s protein degrader platform is being developed under an exclusive license from the Experimental Drug Development Centre (EDDC) hosted by A*STAR. Ligature was cofounded in 2020 by Lightstone Singapore L.P. together with scientific founders Drs. Alvin Hung, Thomas Keller and Congbao Kang. The company intends to build out its team and advance its platform technology. Ligature closed a USD $6M seed financing led by Lightstone Ventures with participation from SEEDS Capital to fund those plans. Lightstone Singapore provided initial investment and strategic support as a cofounder.
