Overview
LTZ Therapeutics is advancing a Universal Myeloid Cell Engager (U-MCE™) platform designed to engage and activate monocytes and macrophages to enhance phagocytosis across oncology and autoimmune indications. Its lead asset, LTZ-301, is a bispecific myeloid engager that redirects monocytes and macrophages to deplete CD79b+ B-cells and is actively enrolling patients with relapsed/refractory non-Hodgkin lymphoma in a Phase 1 study; preclinical data showed potent pharmacology and a favorable safety profile. The company is preparing an IND and plans Phase 1 initiation for its second asset, LTZ-232. LTZ has raised approximately $130 million since its founding in 2022 and will use the recent $38 million financing to accelerate clinical development across its pipeline. The company maintains operations in Redwood City, California and Shenzhen, China, and recently added Erin Lavelle to its board to guide strategic operations.
