The company plans to add object storage optimization and is launching another product within six months, with multiple modules planned over time. Lucidity was founded in 2021 and has about 100 employees across offices in India, Abu Dhabi, London and the U.S. Lucidity offers a NoOps orchestration layer that automates cloud block storage provisioning and capacity management without any code changes. Its tools, including an Auto-scaler and dynamic provisioning, aim to make block storage up to 70% cheaper and 10x faster while preventing downtime during traffic surges. The software can be onboarded in about 15 minutes and uses a pay-as-you-use model with a flat management fee for data under management. Customers are typically enterprise and upper mid-market companies transitioning from on-premise to cloud; Lucidity reports more than 10 enterprise clients and is at an early revenue stage. Reported use cases include reducing over-provisioning (one customer cut storage costs by almost 77%) and helping other customers maintain utilization of 75–80%. The company has offices in New York, Bangalore and Abu Dhabi and plans to use new funding to expand its U.S. go-to-market efforts.
