Ludocare has developed a connected medical companion—a robot—dedicated to very young children with asthma that guides medication use and motivates adherence. The robot rings and calls the child, states medicine names and dosages, demonstrates correct gestures via screen animations, and unlocks daily multimedia rewards. Treatment data are transmitted to parents via a connected application and can be shared with doctors during consultations. Founded in Lyon in 2017, the company reports deployment of the robot in over 200 families and says early results show a drastic improvement in compliance. Ludocare raised €4.2M to fund the launch of a clinical study and the implementation of a medical prescription strategy.
