Lumio Technologies is building a finance app that connects all of a user’s bank, credit card, trading, and crypto accounts to generate personalized insights and automate saving and investing. The platform currently analyzes data from more than 100,000 linked accounts encompassing £1.5 billion in transactions. Over the past 12 months, Lumio’s customer base has grown nearly 400% to 34.7 k users, while daily engagement has increased 216%. Recognized by Metro as a top money-management app alongside Monzo and Moneybox, Lumio aims to combat the £33 billion of "lazy money" it estimates sits idle each year in the UK. The company plans to launch a paid tier, Lumio Pro, in late 2022 with auto-save and investment features requested by its community. Management attributes recent momentum to guidance from former PayPal director and 500 Startups VC Matt Lerner. These traction metrics and upcoming product expansions set the stage for further growth in 2023.
