Overview
Luna is a London-based health and well-being app for teen girls that lets users ask anonymous questions to medical and wellness experts and track periods, moods, skin, sleep and daily habits. The app surfaces expert content in a 'Learn' section and uses AI to automatically field repeat questions so clinicians can focus on new or complex queries. Users receive monthly reports with insights based on their logs and the app nudges healthy habits and prompts medical follow-up when appropriate. Luna operates a freemium model with capped free access and an unlimited plan for €2.99 per month. Since launching a simple version in November 2022, the platform has grown to roughly 100,000 members and nearly 45,000 questions asked. The founders, Jas Schembri-Stothart and Jo Goodall, developed the idea during their MBA at Oxford, presented at TechCrunch Disrupt 2024, and plan to launch in the United States next year.
