MarkeDroid is an Estonian startup developing an AI-driven orchestration layer that links residential, commercial and grid-level energy assets. By analysing real-time power prices, weather forecasts and consumption data, its software decides when electricity should be stored, consumed or sold, lowering costs and easing grid congestion. The company’s core technology targets the growing challenge of millions of disparate rooftop solar installations and other flexible resources that traditional grids cannot easily manage. Beyond its initial residential focus, MarkeDroid plans to expand into energy-retailer orchestration through a partnership with Enefit and to pilot microgrid flexibility projects with national transmission operators. To support this scaling phase, the firm has hired former Funderbeam CPO Kätri Kübar as Chief Operating Officer. Financially, MarkeDroid has just secured a €300,000 bridge round to fund its European rollout. No revenue or user figures were disclosed in the announcement.
