Mate Fertility is building a franchise network of fertility clinics that offers IVF, egg freezing, genetic screening, surrogacy and LGBTQ family-building services alongside digital patient and provider portals, an e-pharmacy and modern EHRs. The company was founded by brothers Oliver and Gabriel Bogner and has recruited reproductive endocrinologist Dr. Jeffrey Steinberg to join the team. Mate says it will undercut local legacy providers, launching in Oklahoma City at prices roughly 50%–60% below incumbents (egg freezing from $5,000; IVF from $9,400) while still maintaining healthy margins. The founders point to a national shortage—about 460 U.S. clinics today and an estimated need for roughly 3,000—to justify broad geographic expansion. Mate plans initial locations in Oklahoma City, Anchorage (Ark.), Bakersfield (Calif.), Lancaster (Pa.), Austin (Texas) and Portland (Ore.), and is working with Dry Bar architects Heitler Houstoun to design clinics aimed at destigmatizing care.
