Materrup builds modular circular low-carbon cement plants that use a non-calcined clay technology to reduce carbon footprint. Its core product is the company’s low-carbon cement produced at factory-scale plants. Materrup is already operational with its first scale plant in Landes. The company plans to establish an additional 10 plants across France and Europe in collaboration with European industrial partners. A €26m fundraising is being supported to accelerate deployment of its technology. The capital will be used to speed rollout of its circular low-carbon cement plants across France and Europe.
