Mavrx is a San Francisco, CA–based agtech company offering an imagery-based spatial analytics platform for growers. The platform leverages a network of UAVs, aircraft, and satellites to deliver total field awareness and help growers maximize yields and reduce costs. Mavrx combines computer vision algorithms and machine learning to detect and predict changes in crop and soil conditions before they become visible. The company is led by CEO Max Bruner, COO Alexey Rostapshov, and CTO Yuan Gao. In September 2016 Mavrx raised $10m in a Series A round and said it will use the funds to continue to expand operations.
