Led · Series C · Aug 2026
Founded in 2021 and headquartered in Mountain View, Muon Space builds end-to-end satellite constellations by integrating spacecraft, payloads, software, operations, and data into a single Mission Foundry platform. In the first half of 2026 the company launched seven satellites, bringing its total to 11 satellites deployed across six launches with a 100% mission success record. Muon recently opened an advanced manufacturing facility in San Jose designed to produce up to 500 satellites annually by 2027 and currently has over 50 satellites in development, including 13 already manifested for launch over the next year. The company serves commercial, government, and international sovereign customers and is bringing multiple customer constellations into operation in 2026, including Vindlér® 2.0 for SNC and FireSat developed with Earth Fire Alliance and Google.org. - Also
Participated · Series D · Aug 2026
Also was launched as an independent company by Rivian in early 2025, transferring key engineers and Rivian’s electric skateboard platform technology to the new venture. The company is focused on autonomous last-mile delivery and pursuing commercial partnerships with customers such as DoorDash. With the latest $200 million investment led by DoorDash and Greenoaks Capital, Also’s total funding has surpassed $500 million. The spinoff structure was intended to let Rivian concentrate on consumer vehicles while allowing Also to develop and commercialize delivery robotics independently. The strategic backing from DoorDash positions Also to pilot and scale deployments aimed at reducing delivery labor costs, though the article does not disclose revenue or user metrics.
- Antora Energy
Led · Series C · Jul 2026
Antora Energy develops and deploys factory-built thermal batteries that store low-cost electricity as heat in insulated solid-carbon blocks and deliver that energy as heat or power on demand. The company says its systems can store energy for multiple days, avoid supply-constrained critical minerals, and be deployed faster than conventional multi-year projects. Antora recently brought one of the largest battery storage projects online—a 5 gigawatt-hour system in South Dakota that moved from construction to energy delivery in under 12 months—and expanded its San Jose factory into a three-building manufacturing campus. The company reports a growing pipeline of signed agreements with hyperscalers and industrial customers and states its deployments have created and supported hundreds of U.S. manufacturing and construction jobs. With the $550 million Series C, Antora plans to expand production capacity, establish a second U.S. manufacturing hub, and strengthen its domestic supply chain. The company positions its technology as a tool to deliver affordable, reliable energy at scale to industry, data centers, and the grid.

Auger counts major customers including Meta’s VR/AR division, Fanatics, and Kimberly-Clark, and has another eight to ten companies in pilots or contract negotiations. The company has about 130 employees and was named a premier supply chain partner on Microsoft Fabric; its product is built on Azure.
