Medic Vision develops SafeCT, a bolt-on system that integrates with hospital CT networks to improve image quality and potentially lower radiation exposure. Medic Vision Brain Technologies develops SafeCT, a technology intended to cut the harmful ionizing radiation from CT scans by as much as 80% while maintaining image resolution and diagnostics quality. The SafeCT system is currently being evaluated at Rambam medical center in Haifa. The company says the recent capital infusion will enable it to pursue FDA and CE regulatory clearance for the system. Founded in 2006, Medic Vision is a graduate of the Technion Institute incubator (Technion Seed) and is managed by its founders Ezer Bar-Aviv (CEO), Eliran Dahan (COO) and Zvi Dvir (CTO).
