MeetingPackage provides a self-service platform that allows hotels and event venues to sell, operate and manage meetings & events spaces. The platform integrates with venues’ existing Property Management, Sales & Catering and back-office solutions and is available in twelve language versions. Customers include hotel chains, individual hotels, restaurants, co-working spaces, event spaces, TMCs, OTAs and event marketplaces. Led by CEO Joonas Ahola and based in Espoo, Finland, the company recently completed a Series A financing. It plans to use the funds to accelerate growth in Europe and expand into the North American market. The company plans launches in France, Portugal, the Netherlands and Poland in the coming months. MeetingPackage.com raised €1.2m in seed funding from several travel entrepreneurs and Takeoff Partners and intends to use the funds to accelerate growth and internationalization. It aims to close a Series A round by the end of 2017.
