Plugzmart is an IIT Madras‑incubated company that indigenously designs and manufactures EV charge controllers and offers a software-based charging infrastructure platform. Its core product combines OEM hardware (charge controllers compatible with any charger) with cloud‑connected software and a mobile app for round‑the‑clock access. The system collects vehicle and energy‑demand data to analyze battery performance and charging cycles, and an algorithm optimally schedules charging to maximize grid resource usage and stability. Plugzmart targets manufacturers of 2, 3 and 4 wheelers and charge point operators as demand for quality, made‑in‑India chargers grows. The startup plans to use the seed capital for research and development and to scale teams to fulfill large orders. Founders are Vivek Samaynathan and Ragavendra Ravichandran.
