- optoML
Led · Series A · Feb 2026
optoML designs analog-in-memory compute architectures that integrate optical interconnects to boost performance and reduce energy consumption for artificial-intelligence processing. The company’s patented in-memory compute design reportedly achieves up to 50× higher energy efficiency than conventional digital AI accelerators. After completing a 12 nm FinFET tape-out with TSMC, optoML has an MoU with Kaynes Semiconductor to handle assembly and testing once wafers are delivered, underscoring its fabless, partnership-driven model. Proceeds from its recent financing will fund additional hiring and kick-start development of a next-generation chip. Founded by Saravana Maruthamuthu, the firm targets edge devices, on-premise enterprise hardware, and hyperscale data centers with its scalable SoC roadmap. To date, the company has publicly disclosed $1.8 million in outside capital, positioning it for product refinement and market entry.
- The Guild
Participated · Series A · Jan 2026
Founded in 2022 as Ethereal Exploration Guild (formerly EtherealX), The Guild is developing Razor Crest Mk-1, a medium-lift, fully reusable rocket capable of delivering up to 24.8 tonnes to Low Earth Orbit and 10.8 tonnes to Geosynchronous Transfer Orbit. Both the booster and upper stages are engineered for recovery and re-flight, targeting launch costs of about USD 500 per kilogram. The vehicle is powered by two in-house engines: the 1.2 MN semi-cryogenic Stallion for the first stage and the 80 kN Pegasus for the upper stage, which employs a Full-flow Segregated Cooling Cycle to enable upper-stage reusability. The company is expanding its infrastructure with a new BASE-002 facility in Andhra Pradesh to support integrated engine and stage testing, supplementing its existing BASE-001 site in Tamil Nadu. Upcoming milestones include engine-level and stage-level testing of its technology demonstrator. Following its Series A round, The Guild’s valuation has risen 5.5× to USD 80.5 million, and its total funding stands at USD 25.5 million. The fresh capital will finance further development and flight qualification of Razor Crest Mk-1.
- Sophrosyne Technologies
Led · Seed · Nov 2025
Sophrosyne Technologies is a Bengaluru-based, fabless semiconductor company founded in 2022 that is building an advanced system-on-chip (SoC) designed for health-monitoring wearables. The chip integrates analog signal acquisition, power-management circuitry, and software support to capture ECG, PPG, respiration, temperature, and other biosignals from a single, compact architecture. By collapsing several sensing functions into one low-energy package, the company aims to help OEMs create smaller, more capable, and longer-lasting devices. Sophrosyne has progressed from prototype silicon to early validation and has secured a $1.2 million MeitY DLI grant to support further R&D. The newly raised seed capital will fund full-scale silicon development, firmware expansion, and early customer deployments in India and abroad. Access to Bluehill.VC’s semiconductor expertise is expected to accelerate its go-to-market strategy and global OEM engagements.
- Helex
Participated · Seed · Oct 2025
Helex is a New York–based therapeutics company creating a new class of targeted medicines for genetic kidney disorders using programmable non-viral lipid nanoparticles (LNPs). Its lead program addresses Autosomal Dominant Polycystic Kidney Disease (ADPKD), an inherited condition driven by PKD1 and PKD2 mutations that affects over 12 million people globally. The firm integrates an AI-powered drug-design platform with its proprietary LNP delivery technology to localize therapeutic cargo directly to kidney cells. Funds from its newest financing are earmarked for IND-enabling studies of the ADPKD candidate and for broadening the development pipeline. Helex operates from New York and ASPIRE BioNEST in Hyderabad and receives support from Bayer Co.Lab Cambridge. Including the latest raise, the company has secured more than $6 million in total funding, reflecting early investor confidence in its kidney-targeted approach.
- EtherealX
Participated · Seed · Aug 2024
EtherealX, formally Ethereal Exploration Guild, is building Razor Crest Mk-1, a launch vehicle intended to return both its booster and upper stage for full reusability, thereby cutting per-launch costs and boosting flight frequency. The company is designing and producing two engines internally: the 80 kN Pegasus upper-stage engine (323 s vacuum Isp, full-flow segregated cooling cycle) and the 1.2 MN Stallion booster engine (306 s sea-level Isp, gas-generator cycle). Hot-fire tests for both engines are scheduled for June–July at its Base 001 site in Tamil Nadu, while a 150-acre manufacturing and testing campus in Andhra Pradesh is slated to open mid-2026. EtherealX targets a technology demonstration flight in November–December 2027 and the start of commercial launches in late 2028, offering payload capacities from 8 t (fully reusable) to 24.8 t (expendable) at $350–$2,000 per kilogram. It has already signed launch MOUs worth roughly $130 million with customers such as Japan’s SpaceBD and Taiwan’s TASA. The startup employs 67 people and plans to grow headcount to about 90 in the coming months. Following its latest raise, the company’s valuation stands at $80.5 million.
