Merus Audio develops audio amplifier ICs for a wide range of high-volume consumer electronics, using a proprietary topology that delivers ultra-high energy efficiency and compact single-chip solutions. Its technology combines a unique amplifier topology with advanced digital power management to minimize power losses and reduce the need for large components, enabling smaller, cooler, and better-performing amplifiers. In 2015 the company planned to release initial MA12040/MA12040P and MA12070/MA12070P amplifiers for mass production after more than a year of customer sampling and strong interest. The firm targets home audio products including sound bars, home theater and stereo systems and wireless speakers, and is preparing to expand into portable consumer segments. Merus Audio raised €2.2M in a Series B to accelerate go‑to‑market efforts and ramp to mass production.
