Founded in 2019 by former professional tennis player Maharishi Sridhar, Bengaluru-based Michezo Sports provides end-to-end design, construction, and maintenance of sports infrastructure that complies with international federation standards such as FIFA, FIH, ITF, and World Athletics. The company’s portfolio spans athletic tracks, football and hockey pitches, badminton, squash, basketball, and volleyball courts, as well as padel and pickleball arenas installed for clubs, educational institutions, and real-estate developers. To date, Michezo claims completion of more than 350 projects for over 175 clients nationwide, highlighting its early operational traction in a fragmented market. The startup also distributes sports construction materials and equipment, aiming to professionalize an otherwise informal supply chain. With its new capital, Michezo intends to enter additional infrastructure verticals like swimming pools and public-sports facilities while strengthening its distribution platform. The firm is simultaneously exploring public-private partnerships with state governments to create accessible community-level sports infrastructure. Michezo positions itself as a player-centric, professional alternative in India’s growing sports ecosystem.
