Overview

Mindspace operates a boutique flexible office business offering designed offices, luxurious lounges, equipped kitchens, meeting rooms and a tenant community for enterprises and SMBs. The company runs 32 locations across 17 cities in seven countries, covering over 100,000 square meters. Mindspace reports a customer base that is about 41% large enterprises and 38% small and medium-sized companies. In 2021 it recovered to and exceeded pre-COVID occupancy levels, reaching over 95% occupancy in Israel and Germany while maintaining pre-pandemic pricing. Recent product and service developments include a “Hybrid” on-demand office offering and increased technology-led tenant experience (apps, data-driven insights, personalized activities). Mindspace has signed six management agreements with landlords and recently opened new branches in London, Tel Aviv, Philadelphia and a hub-and-spoke location near Yakum. The company intends to use the new funds to continue growth and further expansion across Europe, the United States and Israel. Mindspace operates premium co-working locations that offer fully furnished spaces, internet, cleaning, stocked kitchens, a gym, community lounges, and support configuring VPNs and private servers. The company emphasizes design and a unique, well‑designed atmosphere intended to build community and culture for members, differentiating itself from competitors. Mindspace leases buildings rather than buying them, reducing upfront real estate costs and mortgage exposure. It began in Tel Aviv about four years ago and has expanded to Germany, Poland, and the United Kingdom. Enterprise customers include Microsoft, Booking.com, Spotify, Siemens, Samsung, and Techstars. Financially, Mindspace has raised $20 million from Crossroads to fund U.S. expansion and $35 million in total to date. Mindspace provides creative, stylish coworking spaces for teams of all sizes, offering meeting rooms, communal kitchens, dedicated services and curated design. Founded in 2014 by CEO Dan Zakai and Chief Business Officer Yotam Alroy, the company operates locations across Europe and Israel. Its current sites include Berlin, Hamburg, Munich, Tel Aviv and Herzliya, where it is hiring. Financially, Mindspace raised $15m in a Series A round. Backers were not disclosed. The company intends to use the proceeds to enter the U.S. market while continuing to expand and strengthen its presence in Europe.
