MindSpire is a Tunbridge Wells, Kent, UK-based neurotech startup developing medical devices that use targeted vagus nerve stimulation, a modality it calls neural toning. Its first product, SONA, is a medical-grade wearable that delivers precision-coded electrical pulses to the vagus nerve to activate brain circuits for calm, focus and enhanced learning. SONA works alongside an adaptive software platform, NeuroSphere, which uses biometric data, AI, and sound to deliver real-time, personalised stimulation. The company plans to use the funds from its recent round to support the launch of SONA. MindSpire has completed successful pre-clinical studies for stress, tinnitus, and Parkinson’s disease, and has an additional pre-clinical study into chronic pain currently underway. The company is led by CEO and founder Jane Ollis.
