Italy-based Mirai Robotics is building robotic infrastructure that makes maritime environments safer, more observable and less dependent on human crews. The startup integrates autonomous surface vehicles, advanced sensing, artificial intelligence and control software to support intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR) as well as coastal and offshore patrolling. It has already produced two proprietary autonomous vehicles that can operate individually or as part of a distributed fleet, and the company also licenses its autonomy, navigation and control stack for third-party vessels, following a dual-use-by-design approach for both civil and institutional customers. Founded by Luciano Belviso (CEO), Luca Mascaro (CPTO) and Davide Dattoli, the team combines experience in aerospace manufacturing, digital product design and European tech scaling. Capital from its recent round will accelerate technology development, expand headcount and fund pilot projects with industrial and governmental partners. No operating metrics such as revenue or fleet size have been disclosed to date.
