MiroBio is a biotech company formed out of Oxford University that develops checkpoint agonist antibodies to restore immune homeostasis in patients with autoimmune diseases. Its I-ReSToRE discovery platform, which includes the proprietary Checkpoint Atlas™, combines receptor mapping, antibody engineering and advanced bioinformatics to generate precision-engineered checkpoint receptor agonists. The company’s pipeline includes two lead candidates, MB272 (targeting BTLA) and MB151 (targeting PD-1), with MB272 entering Phase I clinical trials. Proceeds from the fundraising will be used to advance the two lead antibody candidates into clinical trials, obtain safety and efficacy data, progress preclinical programs and further develop the I-ReSToRE platform. MiroBio is entering clinical-stage development and is backed by a transatlantic syndicate of new and existing investors.
