The company is initially focused on inflammatory bowel disease and is deploying its platform with a leading U.S. health system to support model development and validation. Mirae builds on research from the University of Oxford’s Computational Health Informatics Lab and was co-founded by Dr. David Clifton and CEO Anuj Patel. The company announced $5.4 million in funding led by Oxford Science Enterprises to expand access and further develop its models and integrations.

Vivid Dx develops a direct-from-blood infectious disease diagnostic platform that combines advanced sample preparation, Raman spectroscopy, proprietary spectral databases, and AI-powered signal interpretation to identify pathogens and support phenotypic antimicrobial susceptibility testing. The company has reported preclinical proof-of-concept across core components and claims roughly 99% pathogen identification accuracy and about 92% concordance for phenotypic AST versus gold-standard methods. Vivid Dx is preparing to test its platform with patient-derived clinical samples as a key step toward clinical validation. The company plans to use recently raised seed capital to advance clinical validation and move toward commercialization. Keith O'Neill was appointed CEO to lead the next phase of clinical and commercial development. Vivid Dx is backed by Oxford Science Enterprises, Cedars-Sinai, Jameel Investment Management Company, and additional strategic investors.

Spun out of the University of Oxford in 2017, Moa Technology operates proprietary discovery platforms that have screened over 900,000 compounds and discovered more than 80 novel mode of action areas capable of breaking weed resistance. Several of its advanced programmes are now in their third year of international field trials, and in 2025 the company disclosed a new category of non-herbicidal products called Moa Amplifiers. Moa has established R&D collaborations with major industry partners including Nufarm, Gowan, Certis Belchim and Corteva Agriscience to progress commercial applications. The company plans to use its Series C proceeds and partner payments to push three lead programmes closer to commercialisation, expand its early-stage pipeline, and continue development of the Moa Amplifiers strategy. Its platform and commercial partnerships are positioned to support further industry deals and field deployment of its discoveries.

Founded in 2021, RQ Bio is developing long-acting monoclonal antibody therapeutics aimed at providing immediate and durable protection against seasonal influenza. Its lead programme, RQB01, is in IND-enabling studies and is designed to deliver broad strain coverage and extended duration of action via a differentiated dual mechanism targeting conserved epitopes. The company aims to provide season-long protection with a single administration, particularly for immunocompromised and high-risk patients. RQ Bio has an experienced team with prior success in developing long-acting antiviral antibodies and is backed by a syndicate of life sciences investors. The recent $115 million Series A will fund clinical development of RQB01 and further advance the company's antibody discovery platform. Leadership was strengthened with the appointment of Christian S. Schade as Executive Chairman.

The company highlights partnerships and advisory relationships with industry and institutional programs including NATO DIANA, Airbus, Thales Alenia Space, Seraphim Space Accelerator, ESA BIC UK, the UK Space Agency accelerator, and NVIDIA Inception as it advances toward deploying its demo and scaling the Star Reacher network.
