Financially, Mobiquity has raised $17M to date, including the $12M Series B announced in this round. In February 2012 the company secured a $3M credit facility from Comerica Bank’s Technology & Life Sciences Division. It plans to use the funds to expand into additional geographies and to focus on verticals such as mHealth, financial services and insurance, media and entertainment, and travel, transportation and hospitality, and is continuing to hire to support growth. Mobiquity is a Boston-based, strategy-led, implementation-driven mobile computing professional services firm focused on architecting, developing and deploying custom mobile solutions for Global 2000 clients. The company was co-founded by CEO Bill Seibel and President and Chief Strategy Officer Dr. Scott Snyder. Mobiquity offers a broad range of services including mobile business strategy, experience design for mobile devices, mobile technology development and deployment, data and analytics, and mobile security services. In March 2011 Mobiquity raised $5M in a Series A financing. Investors in the round include Longworth Venture Partners and Sigma + Partners. As part of the financing, Paul Margolis (Partner at Longworth Venture Partners) and Robert E. Davoli (Managing Director at Sigma + Partners) will join the company’s board of directors.
