Modern Networks is a UK-based IT managed services and connectivity provider serving the real estate and construction industry and other commercial customers. Founded in 1999 by Matthew Reeve, the company provides IT support, connectivity and communications as an integrated solution and operates a 24/7 support centre in Hitchin. It serves over 2,000 sites across the UK and more than 140 enterprise clients, including major commercial property managers, architects, media companies, accountancy firms, not-for-profits and travel agents. Modern Networks is a certified partner for Microsoft, Cisco and HP. The company received a £40m investment from Horizon Capital, alongside acquisition debt finance and a committed acquisitions facility from DunPort Capital Management. The funds will be used to pursue acquisitions and support organic growth in the commercial sector and adjacent sectors, and the leadership team was expanded with Chairman Lee Shorten and Acquisitions Director Andy Roberts joining Reeve alongside MD James Tizzard and FD Nikki Sandham.
