Mojiva is a New York-based mobile advertising company that owns and operates a mobile ad network and an ad serving and analytics platform. Founded in May 2008 and led by advertising and digital media veterans, it has seen rapid growth over the past two years. The company recently spun off its mobile advertising platform into a wholly owned subsidiary, mOcean Mobile. Mojiva closed a $7M second round of venture funding to support its growth. The round was led by UV Partners and included existing investor Bertelsmann Digital Media Investments; its first round in 2008 raised $3M, primarily from Bertelsmann. The financing is intended to fund global expansion of the company’s ad serving platform and display ad network amid growing mobile ad spending.
