Monito operates a comparison website for international money transfer services, ranking providers by cost, speed, pay-out method, trustworthiness and more. The site covers over 400 money transfer providers across more than 190 countries and has been used by millions of people worldwide. Led by co-founder and CEO François Briod, the company helps individuals and businesses find, compare and review the best provider for their needs. Monito currently employs seven staff members. In December 2018 it raised $2.5M in a Series A round to support growth. The company plans to use the funds to extend its international audience and hire software engineers, designers and digital marketers to expand the team.
