82Labs produces Morning Recovery, a ready-to-drink formulation built on the flavonoid DHM plus vitamins, electrolytes and milk thistle drawn from traditional herbal hangover remedies. The company began by handing out powdered samples, launched a website that went viral, and ran an Indiegogo campaign that raised more than $250,000. Morning Recovery sells at $30 for a six-pack of 3.4-ounce drinks, and the founder says margins make each new user profitable. The business has faced production, supply and compliance challenges but reached its first month with inventory in December and began selling through the holiday season. 82Labs plans to expand distribution into retail and to develop additional products if it can build a branded beverage business and scale before larger CPG or pharmaceutical players enter the space.
