Movii is a Colombian fintech that offers a digital wallet used by two million users and a business payment network called MOViiRed. It is fully regulated as a payment institution by Colombian regulators and is an approved payment network by Mastercard and Visa. The company plans to expand its services and is targeting new products in crypto, including a bitcoin purchasing service. Since July Movii has participated with exchanges Panda and Bitpoint in a government‑sponsored pilot allowing financial institutions to provide deposits and withdrawals to and from crypto exchanges. Movii said the recent funding and partnerships will enable it to accelerate growth of existing services and launch new ones. The company plans to pursue a Series C raise before the end of the year.
