- InstaSwitch
Participated · Seed · May 2026
InstaSwitch builds software that automates the full switching process for business bank accounts, updating income, payroll, and payment instructions and guiding users through remaining steps to turn open accounts into activated primary accounts. The company says income and payment instructions update in under 30 seconds once its platform is deployed. InstaSwitch cites a market gap where roughly 5.4 million U.S. small businesses attempt to switch banks annually but most never complete the move. Early customers include Arc, Relay Financial, and Lettuce Financial; Arc reported activated accounts with operating balances 13.1 times the average, while Lettuce reported thousands of completed migrations and completion rates above 80%. The company was founded by Daniel West and operates from New York with an additional office in Chicago. Its stated plan following the seed raise is to scale partnerships across fintechs, regional banks, and community banks.
- Sensori
Participated · Seed · Aug 2025
Sensori is a non-alcoholic beverage brand founded by Shanna Watkins, Darean Rhodes, and Ashlyn Knox that launched in 2024 and officially debuted in February 2025. Its inaugural flavor, raspberry cucumber, is formulated with functional ingredients including kanna (mood), reishi (balance), lion’s mane (mental clarity) and green tea (energy). The founders bootstrapped the business, partnered with a formulator after months of testing, and have pursued visibility through TikTok and wellness placements. Sensori sold out all 5,000 cans of its initial run within 115 days and has proved popular among women in cities such as Dallas, Houston, Atlanta, Chicago, New York City, Los Angeles, and Philadelphia. The company has participated in Impact Ventures’ accelerator, was a semi-finalist in Pharrell Williams’ Black Ambition Prize, and is in early conversations with Whole Foods as it expands distribution.
- Yellow Card
Participated · Series C · Oct 2024
Yellow Card builds stablecoin payment infrastructure and Global USD Accounts that let businesses hold U.S. dollars, manage treasury operations, swap stablecoins and send or receive local-currency payments across its network. The company has processed more than $10 billion in transactions, supports over 50 currencies and holds licences, authorisations and registrations in 22 jurisdictions across North America, Europe and Africa. It counts strategic partnerships and customers including Visa, Mastercard, PayPal, Coinbase, Western Union and others. Yellow Card is focused on expanding its stablecoin rails to enable faster cross-border transactions and to connect banks directly to those rails. The company plans international expansion into Latin America, the Middle East, Europe and the Asia-Pacific region. Its recent financing has brought total equity funding to more than $120 million, which the company says will be deployed to scale product rollout and geographic reach.
- Gridless
Led · Seed · Dec 2022
Gridless designs, builds, and operates bitcoin mining sites alongside small-scale renewable energy producers in rural Africa, acting as an anchor tenant to finance construction and manage data centers where traditional industrial customers are unavailable. The company prioritizes community electrification—powering households and services such as containerized cold storage, battery charging for electric motorcycles, and public WiFi—then uses remaining capacity for bitcoin mining. By purchasing excess generation that would otherwise be discarded, Gridless says it can lower costs for energy producers and end users (a Kenyan pilot cut power from $0.35/kWh to $0.25/kWh). Founded this year by Erik Hersman, Philip Walton, and Janet Maingi, Gridless has contracted five pilot projects in rural Kenya, three of which are operational, and plans to expand across East Africa. The startup plans to use new capital to accelerate rollout of bitcoin mines across African markets and to partner with mini-grid developers to expand electrification. Its model aims to increase rural access to affordable, clean energy while diversifying and securing the global bitcoin mining footprint.
- Telda
Participated · Seed · Oct 2022
Telda is a consumer money and payments app built to digitize everyday finance for Egyptians and the broader MENAP region. The company launched its app and a Mastercard-powered card to the public after securing Central Bank of Egypt approval, and began operations last month. It has onboarded 25,000 cards and reports a waiting list of 110,000 customers who ordered cards. Telda aims to change how people send, spend and save money, emphasizing an intuitive user experience and the social element of payments. The team said the new funding will support product development and market growth across Egypt, where cash remains dominant and card usage is nascent. Founders include Ahmed Sabbah (ex‑Swvl) and co-founder Youssef Sholqamy. Telda is a newly launched digital bank that enables customers to create free accounts to send and receive money and to get a card for online and in-store payments, withdrawals, and bill pay. The company was launched last month by CEO Ahmed Sabbah and CTO Youssef Sholqamy. Telda is the first company to receive a Central Bank of Egypt license under new regulations to issue cards and onboard customers digitally, though cards have not yet been distributed. The startup has more than 30,000 signups, about half of whom have requested cards, and it plans to fast‑track card production and distribution with new funding. Telda aims to scale hiring and expansion—leveraging founders' experience at Swvl and Uber—to reach close to a million cards in its first year. The company raised a $5 million pre‑seed round to support these plans.
