Moxe will use the new funding to prioritize team expansion and technology investments to further advance its clinical data exchange capabilities. As part of the round, Tom Schnettler and Kirk Nielsen joined Moxe’s board. The company says its network of payer and provider organizations together insure more than 50 million Americans and deliver tens of millions of annual visits. Moxe announced it has secured an additional round of capital to fuel commercial and product expansion and to scale its team, particularly in commercial, product, and engineering. The company reported it has released new products to simplify Release of Information and streamline collaboration around open care, risk, and quality gaps and claims to have saved clients tens of millions of dollars. Moxe frames the funding as positioning it to lead on payer-provider interoperability amid growing regulatory focus on standards-based APIs.
