  • Hadrian

    Participated · Series D · Aug 2026

Hadrian builds automated manufacturing facilities that mass-produce parts for vehicles used by the military. The company has opened multiple facilities, including a fourth site in Alabama announced in March to produce submarine parts. That Alabama facility was structured as a public/private partnership and valued at $2.4 billion, according to Hadrian. Hadrian has attracted large venture and institutional backers and recently raised a $1.37 billion round at a $7.87 billion valuation. About a year earlier it raised a $260 million Series C led by Founders Fund and Lux Capital, bringing total capital raised to roughly $2 billion per PitchBook estimates. The company's current plans and financing indicate continued expansion of its automated production footprint for defense supply chains.

  • Medallia

    Participated · Equity · Aug 2026

Medallia provides AI-driven experience management that ingests and analyzes billions of customer and employee feedback signals for enterprise customers, including seven of the Fortune 10. The company is focused on evolving experience management from reporting and analytics into a predictive, automated operating system that can recommend and initiate business actions. Following a recent recapitalization that reduced its outstanding debt and brought in $150 million of new capital, ownership transferred to an investor group led by Blackstone-managed funds, with Apollo and FS KKR Capital Corp. Medallia plans to deploy the strengthened balance sheet to accelerate investments in generative AI, automation, integrations with enterprise systems, and connections to agentic AI platforms. It is also advancing its Frontline-Ready AI foundation to support these strategic shifts.

  • Circle

Participated · Initial Coin Offering · May 2026

Circle launched ARC, a public blockchain designed for institutional contracts, governance, and AI agents, with USDC as the settlement currency. The company completed a $222 million presale of ARC tokens that values the project at about $3.0 billion on a fully diluted basis. The presale was led by a16z and included institutional participants such as BlackRock and Apollo. Circle will hold 25% of the token supply to fund validator rewards as part of the network’s tokenomics. The financing was executed via a token presale rather than an equity infusion. The transaction positions Circle to bootstrap ARC with institutional backers and a built-in token allocation for network security and incentives.
