Multivoice develops personal wireless intercom devices for teams working in rigorous environments. Its first product, the MV900 Wireless Mesh-Network Intercom, enables up to eight co-workers to talk simultaneously on a secure, hands-free wireless network at distances of up to one mile without a base station, and supports an unlimited number of listeners. The MV900 lets listeners become speakers as previous speakers drop into listen-only mode. The company has begun testing an accessory to share MV900 communications with P25 radio users, augmenting two-way radio functionality. Multivoice intends to use recent proceeds for research and development, expanded sales and marketing, and general operations.
