MunchFit operates a retail offering, fitness cafés and a nationwide meal-plans service that lets customers order up to four meals a day, six days a week tailored to fitness goals. Founded in 2013 and based in London, the company has partnerships with premium fitness outlets including Equinox and Barry’s Bootcamp and operates MunchFit cafés within Equinox’s UK sites. Its retail range is stocked in Planet Organic with a dedicated organic line, and a curated edit of meals is available on Ocado. MunchFit closed a £1.2m equity crowdfunding campaign via Crowdcube with 330 backers. The company plans to use the funds to open five more cafés, launch its Fuel range into major supermarkets, improve its website and ecommerce user experience, and make key hires to expand into new business areas and drive growth.
