Founded in April 2025 in Tokyo, Muso Action is building "general-purpose robot workers" powered by a Vision-Language-Action (VLA) foundation model. The company’s mission is to "free people from light tasks through Physical AI," enabling robots that understand human instructions and flexibly operate in manufacturing, logistics, construction and other sites. Having completed the theory phase, Muso Action is now focused on real-world deployment, running proof-of-concept trials to collect field data and refine its control models. The freshly raised capital will be used to expand the social-implementation team, accelerate hiring of robotics and machine-learning engineers, and scale PoCs with corporate partners. Management ultimately aims to productize the platform so the robots can be integrated into existing workflows rather than serve as single-purpose machines. Including a founding loan, the startup has secured a cumulative ¥160 million in funding to date, though no revenue or user metrics were disclosed.
