MyCover.ai operates an open insurance API and a B2B platform (MyCoverGenius) that lets businesses and SMBs embed and buy over 30 personalized insurance products. The platform integrates with insurers including Hygeia, Leadway, Sovereign Trust, AIICO Insurance and Allianz and targets fintechs, proptechs, e-commerce, telcos, logistics, mobility and BNPL platforms. MyCover.ai also offers claims management powered by AI and a distribution layer to improve access and underwriting visibility. Since launch it has processed over 50,000 policies, served 30,000+ end users and recorded over $1 million in gross written premiums from partnerships with 30 distributors. The two-year-old company (founded in 2021) says it doubled revenue in 2022 and plans to invest in its proprietary technology, hire tech talent, bolster operations and expand into other African markets.
