Myosin Therapeutics
130 Scripps Way, Jupiter, FL, 33458, United States
Overview
Myosin Therapeutics is developing MT-125, a novel dual inhibitor and its sole clinical candidate for glioblastoma. STAR-GBM is the company’s first human trial (Phase 1/2) and is designed to assess safety and identify the maximum tolerated dose, with early activity results expected within the coming year. The company previously raised a seed round of over $3 million earlier in 2025 and has received prior NIH support. The newly awarded $2.0 million grant from the Florida Department of Health is non-dilutive and earmarked for trial activities at the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville. While the grant provides a short-term financial cushion and regional credibility, it does not cover the full costs of the planned trial or longer-term development, leaving the company dependent on additional fundraising. Management has been presenting at investor conferences to attract new capital, and the program’s binary near-term catalysts are positive Phase 1 data and subsequent funding to enable a Phase 2 expansion.
