Mythic Protocol is a Singapore-based entertainment company developing games, media, and platforms. It raised $6.5M in Seed funding led by Shima Capital’s Yida Gao, with participation from multiple strategic investors and angels. The company plans to deploy the funds toward development and launch of its initial core offerings. Those offerings include RIFTSTORM, a collaborative action-shooter RPG with roguelite progression and cross-play across PC, console, and mobile; DecentralizedUniversal Meta (DUMB), a blockchain-based creator platform; and LEGACY, a collaborative set of digital asset classes that evolve based on consequence and affect asset growth and yield. Led by CEO Arief Widhiyasa, Mythic Protocol says it will use a game-first strategy to acquire, retain, and scale users.
