  • Hangry

    Led · Series A · Oct 2025

Hangry runs a network of multi-brand virtual kitchens that bundle 18 distinct food concepts—17 of them chicken-based and one beverage brand—under a single, highly efficient production workflow. Since opening its first outlet on 19 November 2019, the company has scaled to more than 118 outlets across Sumatra, Kalimantan, Java, and Bali, becoming one of the top-ten food providers on GrabFood, GoFood, and ShopeeFood. Each outlet functions as a mini assembly line capable of producing over 1,000 portions per day, enabling Hangry to offer meals starting at roughly $1 while maintaining consistency and low operating costs. The firm’s flagship brands, including Moon Chicken, Ayam Mak Dura, and Ayam Koplo, drive much of its order volume by combining local flavors with affordability. Current plans call for further domestic expansion, upgraded kitchen infrastructure, and an international launch in Malaysia. Product innovation and repeated recipe refinements remain central to sustaining customer satisfaction as the company addresses a market increasingly driven by value-conscious millennials and Gen Z consumers.
