Overview
Namogoo offers a client-side platform that detects and prevents unauthorized ad injections that divert e-commerce customers to competitors, a problem the company calls "customer journey hijacking." Its solution also uncovers privacy and compliance risks from third- and fourth-party ad vendors. Namogoo says retailers using its technology see conversion-rate increases of 2–5%, and that in the first half of 2019 those uplifts totaled more than $575 million in revenue for its customers. The platform is deployed by more than 150 global brands in over 38 countries, including Tumi, Asics, Argos, Dollar Shave Club, Tailored Brands and Upwork. Namogoo plans to use the new funding to expand its client-side offerings, beginning with a "customer privacy protection solution" that detects and mitigates privacy risks associated with third- and fourth-party vendors. The company was founded in 2014 and is based in Herzliya, Israel. Namogoo offers a client-side platform that identifies and eliminates Online Journey Hijacking, blocking unauthorized product ads and invasive content that disrupt customer journeys. Its flagship Customer Hijacking Prevention solution has been implemented at more than 50 global mega brands and the platform analyzes over 500 million web sessions each day. Namogoo recently introduced Digital Insights, which analyzes all third-party services running on publisher sites and provides visibility into their impact on site performance, privacy and business KPIs. The company says its proprietary machine-learning solutions help clients across eCommerce, marketplaces, travel, insurance, fintech and publishing improve conversion and revenue. In 2017 Namogoo established its U.S. headquarters, more than doubled its team and significantly grew its customer base. The company will use the new funding to drive adoption of Customer Hijacking Prevention and to accelerate growth of Digital Insights. Namogoo's total funding now stands at $29 million. Namogoo provides a cloud-based Journey-Hijack Prevention platform that identifies and blocks unauthorized product ads and deceptive links injected into ecommerce web sessions. The company uses proprietary analytics, machine learning and big-data processing to track and analyze billions of web sessions from the server to customers’ browsers rather than being installed on the server. Namogoo says its technology consistently recovers up to 90% of stolen revenues for retailers and that the world’s largest retailers rely on its platform. The company plans to use new funding to open its U.S. headquarters in Boston and accelerate U.S. market growth through product development and marketing. Namogoo operates offices in Boston, San Francisco and Israel and has expanded its advisory board with ecommerce veterans to support growth.
