Navigate is building an AI-powered platform and Navigate Maps, which accepts street-level and aerial imagery and is designed to update frequently with fresh data. Users can submit imagery from dashcams, drones, and other sources; AI automatically processes submissions to remove sensitive data and ensure high quality. Contributors earn points for their data contributions and can redeem gift cards in the Navigate Marketplace from global brands such as Airbnb, EA, Under Armour, and UberEats. The company has opened the public alpha of Navigate Maps and in June launched the Navigate Marketplace as a first-of-its-kind digital storefront. Navigate emphasizes user choice and rewards as a differentiator from other mapping providers, giving contributors a say in how their data is collected and shared. The team says it will explore additional use cases for the core Navigate AI platform throughout next year, continuing to evolve the product.
