Overview

Established in 2014, Outlier Ventures is one of the first VC firms dedicated to investing in the emerging crypto ecosystem. Since launching its Base Camp accelerator in 2019, Outlier Ventures has received over 5,000 applications for its highly sought after virtual accelerator and has helped raise over $350 million in seed funding for its growing portfolio of 220+ high-profile projects from across the world, such as Crucible and Biconomy. In addition, Outlier Ventures has supported the launch and growth of several billion-dollar crypto economies including Fetch.ai, Boson Protocol, Secret Network, Blox Move, Swash and DIA Data. Their portfolio includes notable projects across DeFi, NFTs and blockchain infrastructure with a focus on emergent Metaverse use cases such as NFT-based digital couture fashion brands, avatar marketplaces, decentralized music publishing platforms, play-to-earn games, augmented reality social positioning protocols, and more. Outlier Ventures has expanded its Base Camp program to partner with leading protocols such as Aptos, Filecoin / IPFS, Polygon, and Polkadot along with FARFETCH, to host dedicated accelerator programs for these Web3 ecosystems along with Ascent, Outlier Ventures’ advisory offering targeted at later stage teams. Through its blockchain agnostic approach, Outlier Ventures has achieved record growth, doubled its cohort intake year after year, and is on target to accelerate well over 100 startups in 2022, making it one of the most active investors in the space by deal volume and the most active Web3 accelerator globally and top 3 crypto investor globally by volume of investment. Since its inception, Outlier Ventures has always viewed its portfolio as an open stack of technologies that contribute to a new web paradigm, referred to as Web3, based on principles that prioritize the sovereignty of the user, their data and digital wealth, over platform and shareholder supremacy. In January of 2021, Outlier Ventures published its thesis on the imminent arrival of the Metaverse, outlining how Web3 would serve as an operating system for an Open Metaverse.

  • Nexton Solutions

    Participated · Equity · Nov 2025

Nexton Solutions builds an AI-native execution layer designed to maximize on-chain yield by automating restaking and arbitrage strategies across decentralized and centralized liquidity venues. Its stack comprises Nexton-ai, an AI arbitrage routing engine that scans DEXs such as STON.fi, DeDust and EVAA as well as CEXs like Binance and Hyperliquid, and Nexton-re, an automated restaking module that mints performance-tracking staking NFTs and enables multi-layer restaking. All functionality operates inside Telegram, removing the need for dashboards or extensions and streamlining user interaction. The platform currently manages more than $3 million in TVL, serves over 60,000 monthly active users, and collaborates with 75+ ecosystem partners across TON, Kaia, Base and BNB Chain. Reported AI strategies have produced 70–90% APY and over 40% cumulative ROI derived from real arbitrage PnL. With a strong footprint in Korea, Japan and Southeast Asia, Nexton plans to grow to 500,000 users and position itself as the default AI execution layer for global restaking and arbitrage. Near-term initiatives include multi-route upgrades, expanded Telegram growth funnels and preparation for an NXT token private round.

  • Nexton

    Participated · Equity · Nov 2025

Nexton provides an AI execution layer that optimizes restaking and arbitrage opportunities for users across decentralized (DEX) and centralized (CEX) exchanges. Its two core products are Nexton.ai, an AI arbitrage-routing engine that scans venues such as STON.fi, DeDust, EVAA, Binance and Hyperliquid to execute risk-adjusted trades, and Nexton.re, an automated restaking module that mints staking NFTs and enables layered restaking strategies. All interactions occur through a Telegram bot, eliminating the need for browser dashboards. The platform has quietly amassed more than US$3 million in total value locked (TVL), over 60,000 monthly active users and partnerships with 75+ ecosystem players on TON, Kaia, Base and BNB chains. Certain AI strategies have delivered 70-90 % APYs and the protocol reports a cumulative ROI above 40 % drawn from real PnL rather than token emissions. Geographically, the company is gaining traction in Korea, Japan and Southeast Asia and positions itself as the leading AI engine within the TON ecosystem. Near-term plans include adding multi-route arbitrage, expanding to more chains, scaling Telegram acquisition funnels and launching “Restake Asia Season 1.” Nexton also intends to run a private sale of its 500 million-supply NXT token, targeting US$3 million at a US$25 million FDV, with token utilities spanning revenue share, governance and collateral functions.
