NeoFarm
Belo Horizonte, MG, Brazil
Overview
NeoFarm develops automated, regenerative vegetable farms that combine robotics and farm-management software rooted in agroecology. Founded in 2018, the company holds three patents for its proprietary robotics technology. It currently operates three pilot sites producing 120 tons of certified organic vegetables annually. The new funding will support construction of a 25-hectare flagship farm in Lisses (Essonne) scheduled to open in 2025, featuring 10 hectares of greenhouses, biodiversity zones, robotic tools, automated irrigation and on-site processing. The Lisses site is designed for 1,300 tons annual capacity, supplying the equivalent of 17,000 schoolchildren across more than 20 chemical-free vegetable varieties with near water autonomy. NeoFarm plans to deploy more than 25 large-scale farms across Europe by 2030 to scale organic production while improving farmer well-being and local food sovereignty.
