Netskrt Systems is a Content Delivery Network (CDN) provider focused on improving over-the-top (OTT) streaming video quality at the network edge. Its eCDN delivers tier 1 streaming video on demand (VOD) and live media across Canada, the United States, and the United Kingdom. The company’s solution targets high-quality viewing in urban, rural and remote areas as well as in-flight, and is particularly well suited to live sporting events and popular VOD content. With the Series A financing, Netskrt plans to expand its edge CDN footprint into international markets including Europe and South America, and into airlines and other travel markets. The investment will also fund expansion of customer support, engineering, and operations to fulfill its global eCDN mission. Netskrt secured CA$10 million in Series A equity financing, reflecting investor confidence in its team and technology.
