Its core capabilities include calibration using ground-based mirror reflectors combined with AI-driven image quality evaluation and correction, plus harmonization technology to combine data from multiple satellites for higher-frequency observation and continuity. The company targets public and industrial customers across use cases such as railways, roads, power infrastructure monitoring, disaster response, illegal dumping detection, and land use analysis. Following its ¥430 million Series A, the firm plans to expand existing services, build new GLI-based applications, strengthen product development, and grow sales, marketing, and hiring. It also intends to expand geographically into Asia, North America, and Africa. New Space Intelligence was selected for JAXA’s Space Strategy Fund Phase 2 project and will develop sensor evaluation and calibration methods under that program through September 2030.
