NextCloud is an IaaS company delivering regional managed hosting and cloud services to enterprise, smart building, healthcare, government and education customers. The company highlights expertise in virtualization, storage architecture, networking, system security and performance optimization. It is led by chairman and CEO Jonathan Reeves, with Gary Lamb serving as CTO. NextCloud is relocating its U.S. headquarters from Sacramento, California to Wallingford, Connecticut. In November 2012 the company raised $1.2M in seed funding to support its operations and regional expansion. In conjunction with the funding, Connecticut Innovations' managing director Robin Mayo will join NextCloud's board of directors.
