Nila offers a digital care-management platform focused on helping emigrants oversee the health and wellbeing of ageing family members across borders. Operating first in India, the service already delivers in-home care in more than ten cities including Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore and Kolkata. The company has built an in-house certification programme that vets and trains local caregivers in geriatric care and safeguarding, branding them as “Nila Certified” Carers. Caregivers use the platform to schedule home visits, manage medication adherence, coordinate transport to medical appointments and process medical payments on behalf of overseas family members. Spun out of Founders Factory’s Aviva fintech venture studio, Nila plans to use its new capital to deepen coverage across India over the next 12–18 months and enter additional Asian markets such as the Philippines thereafter. The platform aims to reduce stress for expatriates while professionalising elder-care delivery in emerging markets.
