NOTO produces low-calorie ice creams and fruit popsicles and sells via a hyper-local dark store model enabling 30–40 minute delivery. The brand operates 85 dark stores and plans to expand to 200. It is available in more than five cities (including Mumbai, Bangalore, Delhi, Pune, Chennai, Nagpur, Jaipur, Mangalore) and via its own website, Swiggy, Zomato, Instamart, Zepto, BBnow and gourmet stores. Founded in 2019 by husband‑wife founders Ashni Shah and Varun Sheth, NOTO reported an ARR of Rs 35 crore and is targeting Rs 50 crore by the end of the summer. The company says it is on track to become profitable by FY24 and plans product development, core team hires, deeper tier I/II/III expansion and offline channels such as freezer placements, parlours and carts. The company was founded in 2018 by Varun and Ashni Sheth and has sold over five lakh units since inception. It currently has a limited retail presence, operating largely in Mumbai, and plans to expand pan-India. Noto intends to broaden its healthy ice-cream vertical by adding flavors and formats and targeting specific lifestyle and dietary needs such as vegan, keto, and high-protein offerings. Financially, the brand has raised ₹4 crore in a pre-series A funding round. Investors in the round include Titan Capital, Rockstud Capital, John Abraham, WEH Ventures, and other angel investors.
